Introducing...

I know I'm a little late, but I've been spoiled by the ease of posting pictures on Facebook. For those that don't currently obsess over Facebook, here are pictures of little Lexi. She is such a joy! What an angel. She is nursing very well, though we're not quite at a consistent schedule, we're getting there. She was born at 7lb 4oz, 19 inches long at 12:27pm on 2/17/09. Cade just loves her. He can't stop kissing her. It's the cutest thing. Enjoy the pictures, I have to go entertain Lexi now! : )

Happy Valentine's Day!! So day marks 39 weeks, 2 days - the day I had Cade. So I took another belly shot for comparison. I think about the same size I was with Cade at this time. I had contractions last night every 5 minutes and thought for sure I'd be in labor by morning, but alas I am not. There were a lot of Valentine's Day predictions, so we'll see what the day brings. Not too many people thought I'd make it thru this weekend, so here's to hoping!

Full term!!!

Well I am officially full term as of today. What a milestone! I have enjoyed all the wonderful weeks of feeling Lexi move and kick from inside, but I am so anxious to meet her. I know as soon as she arrives, I'll miss my special bonding time with her as I will be forced to share her with the world. I must admit I enjoy having her all to myself right now. : ) I have attached today's belly shot and I also took some pictures of Lexi's room. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed decorating. This past weekend Lexi had the most perfect baby shower to welcome her. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. Attached is a picture of the hostesses. Thanks girls, you're the best!!

Big Boy!!!

Last night was our first real attempt at getting Cade to sleep in the toddler bed and he slept there all night!!!! We are so proud! I'm a bit sad too because it means he's really growing up! We wanted to try and get him in there a few weeks before Lexi arrives since he's changing rooms. We didn't want him to feel like he's giving up his room (or bed) to her. I am just so amazed at my sweet angel. I just can't get over him. Well that's all for now. I'm 36 weeks now, and I'll post another belly shot next week when I'm full term.

6 week countdown...

34 weeks today and I am SO ready to meet this girl! The doctor says Lexi is way low and things are starting to get going. That was music to my ears. I am way uncomfortable now, but I really can't complain because this has been a great pregnancy. Lexi doesn't really kick so much anymore since there's not much room left, but I can feel her every move. I love it! I am having more and more CH contractions and am really hoping I won't make my due date. I guess time will tell. She'll be here before we know it. I've added a couple pictures of us having fun with Cade. No he's not kissing us. It's food he's after! He absolutely loves pretzel sticks these days! It's his favorite snack. Cade also loves to sit with us and read books. He'll bring us a book and turn around and sit down on our lap and wait for the story. It's so incredibly cute, and a special bonding time for us. Yesterday he got a big boy hair cut like daddy's. He's so handsome! I'll upload some pictures of that later. Until then...
